Ola Portugal!
In 2019, my travels led me to Portugal, a country known for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture. After the intense professional focus of the previous year, I was eager to rediscover joy and relaxation. Portugal, with its warm climate, beautiful coastlines, and friendly people, offered the perfect setting for rejuvenation and exploration. Lisbon, the capital, was my first destination. The city's colorful buildings, historic trams, and scenic viewpoints created a charming and welcoming atmosphere. I spent my days wandering through the narrow streets of Alfama, the oldest district of Lisbon, where the echoes of Fado music filled the air. The city's vibrant street art and bustling markets added to its dynamic character. One of the highlights was visiting the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites that showcased Portugal's maritime history and architectural brilliance.
